I have been working in the travel industry since 2004, including roles at Air New Zealand and Orbit Travel. After earning my Bachelor of Tourism from the University of Waikato, I spent two years working in Corporate Travel in London and travelled extensively around Europe. A highlight was visiting Cinque Terre on Italy’s coast, with its picturesque walks and stunning views. I work remotely for Orbit World Travel Hamilton and enjoy collaborating with the Orbit team and clients, as well as the variety that the role offers.

I’ve worked in the Tourism and Travel industry for 10 years, holding various roles from adventure travel and accommodation management to my current position as a travel specialist, and I have a deep passion for the industry. I enjoy exploring new places, trying different foods, chatting with new people, and listening to their stories. Being in nature is one of my favourite places to be and explore. I previously lived in Rotorua for many years, and the redwoods will always be among my top favourite spots.

After completing a Diploma in Business and International Tourism at Wintec, I spent most of my 20s travelling and working around the world, which was a fantastic way to learn about the industry! I have 14 years of experience in both Leisure and Corporate Travel, having held roles across travel agencies, hotels, and tour operators. Travel is my absolute passion, and I’m always happy to share my own experiences and personal tips and tricks for a destination! Outside of work, I love spending time in nature near my home in Taranaki, as we’re very lucky to have both the ocean and the mountains in our region!

I joined Orbit nearly four years ago after relocating to the sunny BOP from Wellington. I have over 30 years of experience in the travel industry, primarily in corporate travel. There’s never a dull moment in the travel sector! I am well-travelled, having lived and worked on four continents and had the good fortune to visit many countries. I enjoy discussing better travel purchasing practices with my clients, often leading to significant cost savings.

I joined Orbit in early 2015 and have been fortunate to work in various roles, including short-haul consultant and team leader for our Tauranga office. In 2025, I took on a new challenge as Training and Business Solutions Manager. This role allows me to combine my passion for supporting people with a focus on systems, tools, and continuous learning to help our team thrive. I love working alongside our talented people, helping them develop their skills and confidence while ensuring our technology operates efficiently for everyone. Outside of work, I enjoy the lifestyle of living near the beach and making the most of family time. Japan remains high on my travel wish list – I’m excited to one day explore the culture, cuisine, and energy of Tokyo City.
