Carbon Emissions Reporting

Our reports are audit-ready having been independently verified by Toitu Envirocare Our dashboard and reports provide our customers with a clear view of the environmental impact of travel, with emissions calculated using independently verified factor

Verified Emission Factors

Our emission factors are verified by Toitu Envirocare, along with our carbon reports. We are proud of our Toitu carbon compatible certification, audited annually.

We provide all of our customers with our carbon methodology document, where details on exactly how our emissions are calculated and documented and updated on a regular basis.

Carbon conscious booking flow

Through Orbit Online, our booking tool and enterprise suite, our tools make it simple for travellers to book flights and accommodation keeping sustainability front of mind. The tool displays estimated kg of carbon for each Travel option.

This transparency empowers travellers to compare choices, not just focusing on cost and convenience, but helps provide valuable information around the environmental impact of travel. This helps organisations influence behaviour, reduces emissions and aligns travel decisions with sustainability goals.

Carbon budgets and tracking management

Orbit enables organisations to set, monitor and manage carbon budgets alongside travel spend. Initiatives like allocating emissions allowances across departments, or business units means our customers can track usage and compare performance against targets.

Carbon offset solutions

Orbit goes beyond measuring emissions, offering our clients a range of carbon offsetting options through multiple trusted providers. Organisations can choose projects that align with your priorities, allowing travel related emissions to be responsibly mitigated.

Offsets can be applied at the time of booking through our booking tools, monthly, quarter or annually all depending on what suits our customers best. We also work with Toitu envirocare providing carbon offset options via their programmes.
